Technical drawing of west elevation and gangway proposal for Monkwearmouth Picture Hall. Originally, St Stephen's Chapel, Monkwearmouth Picture Hall opened in 1906 leased by Messrs Black Brothers until 1916. In 1918, the hall was taken over by the Marshall Brothers and renamed the Bromarsh Grand Cinema. It was badly damaged by German bombing in 1943 and never reopened.
