Sunderland Library’s map collection is presented here for your research and interest. The collection is split into three categories, Ordnance Survey maps, Goad insurance maps and the Historical map collection. The area of Sunderland is the primary focus but the collection includes the wider Northeast and in some instances beyond the region. While the Historical map collection is focused on the past both the Goad and Ordnance Survey will also provide an insight into the history of an area.
